The Los Angeles Fires in the Palisades, Pasadena, Hollywood, and more have destroyed countless homes since they started on Tuesday, January 7. 200,000 residents have evacuated their homes in LA County, with over 17,000 acres burned in the Palisades fire and 13,690 acres in the Eaton fire in the Pasadena area. People reports that stars like Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam, Eugene Levy, Miles Teller and Keleigh Teller, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, and more have all lost their homes in the Palasides fire, specifically. “The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon,” Levy explained to the LA Times on his evacation. “I couldn’t see any flames but the smoke was very dark.” On January 9, Bella Hadid shared a photo of her childhood home destroyed, pointing out the room she grew up in engulfed in flames.

Singer Empress Of posted on January 9 that she lost her home in the Eaton Fire in Pasadena, writing: “My family home is gone. I’m devastated. Thankful for our safety.” While Mandy Moore’s home in Altadena is “still standing” despite being “not livable,” she gave a grim update to her neighborhood. She wrote, “We lost our garage and back house. Everyone we know lost everything. Every house on our street is gone. My in laws. My brother and sister in law- 6 weeks from welcoming their first baby. Our best friends. Feeling weird survivors guilt.”
