The family of a 14-year-old boy fatally stabbed on a bus in south east London are horrified at rap lyrics boasting about the murder.

Kelyan Bossaka was on the 472 bus in Woolwich Church Road, Woolwich when he was attacked and killed on Tuesday.

Police are hunting those responsible and so far no arrests have been made.

Earlier this week, his devastated mum Mary Bokassa, 50, told Metro how her ‘kind and caring’ son had become involved in gangs after being groomed and taken advantage of at a young age.

Now rap lyrics that boast about the killing have been shared online.

The lyrics, posted alongside hundreds of tributes, refer to Kelyan by his rap name Grippa.

The post says: ‘Caught Grippa lackin’ on the 472 (bus). Blade in my coat, it’s do or die.

‘He tried jumping off, but the door’s don’t slide, hah.’

Jacques Tizie, a family friend speaking on behalf of Mary today, said the lyrics were another painful blow as she tried to cope with the death of her only child.

He told Metro: ‘These type of lyrics are disgusting and shocking. Mary went to the crime scene yesterday and she is in bits.

‘This is too much for her. The police must look at who posted that and see if they are actually involved.

‘Whoever the killer is we appeal to them to hand themselves in. This gang violence around here is too much. How many young boys must die?’

He said the family have had little information from police and were themselves struggling to understand why Kelyan was attacked.

‘We just don’t know,’ he added. ‘The family wants answers. We want justice.’

Jacques said Kelyan, who wanted to be a chef and was a keen footballer, had ‘a good heart’ but ‘outside forces got to him’.

‘When he was stabbed he was going into Woolwich,’ he added. ‘He was trying to get back on track – he was doing well at school.

‘He wanted to get out of the spiral of violence.’

Jacques said more needs to be done to tackle gangs and get knives off the street.

Speaking at the scene on Tuesday, deputy commander Louise Sargent said: ‘I’m very sad to say that this afternoon a 14-year-old boy has died. The initial alert was raised by a local officer out on patrol.

‘Paramedics treated a 14-year-old boy at the scene who had received stab wounds, but really sadly, he died shortly after medics arrived.

‘Our thoughts at this time are with the victim’s family and friends.

‘This is a horrendous crime, and I can’t imagine what they must be going through right now.

‘We are working at pace to identify and arrest those involved.’

Keylan was reportedly caught up in a grim postcode war in Woolwich.

The teen’s death comes just two weeks after he paid tribute online to friend Daejaun Campbell, 15, who was stabbed to death in Woolwich in September.
