Electrification work begins on Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor

Electrification work for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor is underway with over 20,000 steel masts being installed, supporting a 2x25 kV overhead system. Significant progress includes the completion of a 210-meter bridge, viaduct construction, and tunneling. The project aims to connect key business centers in Gujarat and Maharashtra, with an estimated economic return rate of 11.8 per cent.
