NSYNC Star Candidly Addresses Reunion, Possibility of New Album

There may be hope for NSYNC fans after all. While there's nothing set in stone, those who have been crossing their fingers to see the band pull a Backstreet Boys and bring the group back together received some reason for optimism.

The band, featuring Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass, hasn't released an album since the early 2000s. However, Fatone recently sat down with The Today Show, and was asked about a potential reunion.

Fatone stated he's "open to it, 100% open to it," and his comments also left the door open for a few different possible outcomes.

"The only problem is, the five of us have to get together and have this conversation, we haven't had it yet," Fatone explained.

"... Once we get that conversation, we'll know if we're going to do a tour, what is it going to look like, are we going to do it, are we not going to do it? Are we going to do an album, are we not going to do an album?"

Fatone admitted he doesn't have an answer currently, but said to "keep our fingers crossed."

"But as of right now, I have no answer for anyone, as if, let's just keep our fingers crossed and see what happens," the singer said.

The 48-year-old admitted that he'd love for his kids to see him perform, as they've never witnessed an NSYNC concert. Although there appears to be plenty that needs to be sorted out, it does sound like the possibility of the group getting back together for one more go-round isn't out of the question.
