Survivor's Dan Spilo Pushed Out of His Management Company Amid Allegations & Being Dropped by Clients

Dan Spilo has been pushed out of the talent management company that he helped create.

The former Survivor contestant, who became the first and only person to ever be removed from the show by producers, has now lost his position at Industry Entertainment, a top management firm in the entertainment industry.

Dan‘s fellow partners at the firm have confirmed that they asked him to “step away from the company” and he agreed.

It was reported this week that Dan‘s most famous client, Reacher actor Alan Ritchson, had fired him as his manager following an on-set incident while filming the action film Runner in Australia. THR is now reporting that more clients have dropped him.

Kal Penn dropped Dan this week amid the allegations and Gen V actress Lizze Broadway has removed Dan from her IMDbPro page. Emmy nominee Joey King previously parted ways with Dan in 2023 over alleged “financial irregularities.”

Industry Entertainment provided a statement on the matter.

The company’s partners said in a joint statement, “Industry Entertainment is committed to providing a safe and respectful working environment. We take very seriously the recent allegations of inappropriate conduct on the set of the film Runner related to Dan Spilo, and are conducting a thorough investigation. The Industry partners requested that he step away from the company, and he has agreed to do so, effective immediately. As a matter of policy and practice, Industry Entertainment has zero tolerance for harassment, abuse, or misconduct—no matter the individual’s position or tenure. Our commitment to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment applies to everyone, without exception. We recognize our responsibility to foster a workplace culture that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of every individual.”
