Brooklyn Beckham's Bold Stand To Protect Wife Nicola Peltz

Brooklyn Beckham's feud with his family isn't a short-term rift, it's become a full-blown public fight.

Beckham is doubling down on his three-year marriage to Nicola Peltz by lawyering up for "reputation management," according to The Mail on Sunday. British lawyer Jenny Afia is representing the couple to refine the narrative about them in the media. Despite rumors that Prince Harry encouraged the 26-year-old chef to hire his former attorney, Us Weekly is clarifying why David and Victoria Beckham's eldest child retained their services.

"Schillings [law firm] is a respected firm with a wide range of clients,” the media outlet's source noted. “Ironically, the inaccurate reporting proves exactly why one hires legal counsel, to set the record straight and combat the spread of deliberate misinformation.”

Beckham and Peltz were recently in Montecito, CA, for an event that was not held at Meghan and Harry's home, so it was not a "victim summit" as previously reported by news outlets. Hello! Magazine’s royals editor Emily Nash shared on the May 23, 2025, episode of A Right Royal Podcast that "they were there as part of a dinner party of about 20 people" from the entertainment industry.

People reported that tensions between the couple and Beckham's family reached a fever pitch at their April 2022 wedding. An insider claimed that performer Marc Anthony introduced Victoria as "the most beautiful woman in the room tonight" ahead of the mother-son dance. Peltz reportedly "felt that Victoria ruined her wedding and couldn't understand why."

A second source confirmed the awkward moment, adding, "It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock — you could hear a pin drop."

Neither side has addressed the rift publicly, but Beckham's May 24, 2025, Instagram post seems to hint at the behind-the-scenes mess.

"My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby," he wrote in the caption of a video clip with the duo riding a motorcycle together. 

Peltz is his ride-or-die partner forever.
