Olivia Dunne Dropped Nearly $3,000 to Show Support for Paul Skenes

Olivia Dunne has shown time and time again that she is very supportive of her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates superstar pitcher, Paul Skenes.

The two have been dating since their days together at LSU, and Dunne and Skenes have been supportive of each other's careers along the way. We saw yet another example of that over the weekend.

Dunne was in attendance at the Fanatics Fest this past weekend and made her way over to the baseball cards section of the event.

And, predictably, she decided to purchase one of Skenes' baseball cards. According to card company Topps, the former LSU gymnast spent a whopping $2,850 on the "rare" rookie card.

While that's a lot of money for us mere mortals, Dunne makes more than enough to be able to afford it. And, if Skenes keeps going on the trajectory he's currently on, that card is going to be worth a lot more in the future.

After starring at LSU, Skenes was drafted with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 June Amateur Draft and has lived up to the hype.

Skenes has been the most dominant pitcher in baseball in that span, with the Pirates ace posting a 1.91 ERA and 276 strikeouts in 39 starts over his two MLB seasons.

So, while Livvy's purchase is a great showing of support, it's also a great investment.
