'Mystery' Woman Who Went Viral at College World Series Identified

On June 22 the LSU Tigers won their eighth national title by defeating Coastal Carolina in a sweep in the men's College World Series.

With the win, LSU stamped its mark on the baseball world with its second title in the past three years and staked its claim as the best program in history - or so the program believes.

"I don't think there's anyone here that's going to argue with you on that," designated hitter Ethan Frey said. "What I know is that when we go to work every day, we do it trying to make the Tigers that came before us proud. Hopefully we have. They built it. We build on that."

As the Tigers were dominating on the field, one LSU fan was dominating off of it. A "mystery woman" as dubbed by the New York Post, was identified as Alicia Huggins, a 26-year-old business owner in Louisiana, where she runs Huggins Glow.

Earlier this afternoon, Huggins took to Instagram with a new photo. "GEAUXXX TIGERS ????????????????#lsutigers #lsubaseball #freds #2025 #cws #louisianagirl #champions #callingbatonrouge," she said in the caption.

The post racked up a number of comments regarding her newfound fame.

"Geauxxxxxx Alicia!!!!!Oh… I meant LSU!!!!! ????????‍♀️You look gorgeous ????," one person said

"My girl is a celebrity now! ????????????," added another.

"Saw you on the broadcast," offered a third.

Huggins took to her Instagram Story Tuesday to repost an image of the moment when ESPN cameras cut to her cheering in the crowd as the Tigers took a 5-1 lead over Coastal Carolina in the top of the fourth inning.

In November 2024 Huggins celebrated her 26th birthday.
