Shohei Ohtani, Simone Biles are among the 2025 ESPYs nominations

The nominations for the 2025 ESPY Awards were announced on Thursday. Among the notable sports figures who heard their name called: Shohei Ohtani, Simone Biles, Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Caitlin Clark, Coco Gauff, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Ilona Maher, and Alexander Ovechkin.
The ESPYs ceremony will be hosted by comedian Shane Gillis from the Dolby Theatre. It airs live on July 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and streams live on ESPN+. It will also be available to stream on-demand the next day on Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.
The star-studded sports event will relive the best moments of the year, honor leading athletes and performances, and bring together the industry's fan-faves and biggest stars. Fans can vote for the winners right now on ESPYs.com.
