I don't think it suited Neumann at all, he's not particularly strong in the air.

I keep seeing this and it baffles me, then hearing Davies praise his ability in this area I get more baffled.

Yeah it's nonsense, people hear a snippet and repeat it either without thinking, or to sound like they know what they're talking about.

Neumann won almost 90% of his aerial battles, against a team full of giants.
