‘500 days in prison’: Teacher jailed for Christmas because he won’t submit to ‘pronoun’ ideology

It’s a series of attacks that have targeted Enoch Burke, a school teacher in Ireland, for three years already, and it’s being elevated now to the point authorities have ordered him to be jailed over the Christmas holiday over his adherence to science and fact.

The fight is over orders from officials at his school to lie, by using “they/them” pronouns for a student who claims to be transgender.

That, of course, defies science, as being male or female is embedded in humans down to the DNA level, and does not change.

Live Action’s Lila Rose commented on the orders: “Ireland is no longer free. Ireland teacher Enoch Burke will spend Christmas in jail after refusing to use preferred pronouns for a trans-identifying student, citing his religious beliefs. The school then initiated a disciplinary process, preventing him from teaching. After multiple attempts to fight what he believed was religious persecution, Enoch was arrested. Pray for Enoch and his family.”

Ireland is no longer free.

A report from RTE Ireland said the orders to keep Burke locked up over the holiday came from the High Court.

“Mr. Burke was ordered back to prison two weeks ago for contempt of court by continuing to turn up at Wilson’s Hospital School despite a court order directing him not to trespass. The judge accused Mr. Burke and his family of engaging in the most deliberate, sustained and concerted attack on the authority of the civil courts and the rule of law in this country in recent times.”

Involved are Burke, his brother, Isaac, mother, Martina, and sister, Ammi.

The report explained, “Mr. Burke has spent more than 500 days in prison for refusing to abide by court orders. He claims he is turning up for work at the school as his right. The courts have usually ordered his release from prison during the school holidays.”

The judge, Brian Cregan, claimed “fines and the appointment of security guards had failed to stop Mr. Burke turning up at the school and there was no option but to imprison him again,” the report said.

The judge already has appointed a receiver for Burke’s bank account in order to charge him legal fees to benefit the school.

He also has pending a hearing regarding his dismissal by school officials.

Further, Burke objected to a rant by the judge who described him as “a baleful and malign presence … an intruder, stalking the school…”
