Pamela Anderson Wants to Change Her Name to Embrace Her Finnish Heritage

Pamela Anderson is thinking about changing her name!

During a recent interview with Vogue Scandinavia, the Baywatch alum revealed she has been wanting to embrace more of her Finnish ancestry by taking on the family name.

“Sometimes I don’t want to be Pamela Anderson. I want to be Pamela Hyytiäinen. I would like to change my name, but they won’t let me,” she shared.

Pamela was very close to her Finnish grandfather Herman Hyytiäinen.

The Naked Gun star also admits there is something alluring about “another evolution.”

“My imagination has run wild with me over the years,” she said. “I’ve been trying different people on for size. You have to peel it all back, many times, and start over and over again.”
