Parking ticket palava (2 replies)

Daughter in law parked up big queue at ticket machine so waited her turn
Now few weeks after has penalty notice as she was a few minutes over
They say the time it from when she entered the car park even if there was a ticket queue
Deems very harsh they say no grounds for appeal
Anyone been stung like this and found a remedy?
