The Wolfson Centres 2026 online courses for the process industry
The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology has released its 2026 calendar of short courses. Registration for these courses has also opened
Starting the year off is two online Powder and Particulate Handling courses, delegates will be given the opportunity to understand why particular issues occur, and how to overcome them.
The 2026 dates are:
- January 6-7: Troubleshooting and Commissioning ‘Hands-on’ Pneumatic Conveying Systems
- January 27-28: Caking and Lump Formation in Powders and Bulk Materials
- February 10-11: Undesired Deblending and Separation in Processes and Equipment
- February 24: Rotary Valves; Design, Selection and Operational Issues
- March 16-19: Workshop Week, different practical applications will be discussed and demonstrated each dayApril 21-23: Storage and Discharge of Powders and Bulk Materials (includes an optional practical workshop)
- May 13-14: Pneumatic Conveying System Design
- June 2-3: Troubleshooting and Commissioning ‘Hands-on’ Pneumatic Conveying Systems
- October 20-21: Measurement of the properties and Bulk Behaviour of Particulate Materials
- November 10-12: Pneumatic Conveying of Bulk Materials (includes an optional practical workshop)
- December 1-2: Pneumatic Conveying System Design
Each course will consist of two afternoon sessions over Microsoft Teams.

The Wolfson Centre can provide In-Company courses for companies whose requirements are not suited to the available courses. For In-Company courses, modules can be selected and delivered at a time that best suits the company’s operations.
