2024 Eurovision winner returns trophy over Israel’s participation
Nemo Mettler, the Swiss artist who won the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, has announced that they are returning the trophy in protest over Israel’s continued participation in the competition.
Nemo, who won with the song The Code in Malmö, Sweden, said in a statement on Instagram that they would send the glass microphone trophy back to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) headquarters in Geneva.
