WATCH: Rooftop Pickleball Match Turns Deadly as Man Plunges to His Death
A 32-year-old man is dead after falling from the third floor rooftop during a friendly pickleball game in Malaysia.
The man—who has not been identified—can be seen jumping a safety barrier to retrieve a ball that had gone over the fence. Tragically, the mesh netting did not support his weight and he fell to his death.
The incident took place at Playa Racquet Club in Kuala Lumpur.

"We are deeply saddened by a tragic incident that occurred at our TREC facility, which resulted in the loss of a life," the Playa Racquet Club said in a statement following the man's December 2 death. "At this time, we ask for understanding and compassion as we respect the privacy and loved ones affected."
The Club continued, "We kindly urge the public to refrain from speculation while the appropriate authorities carry out their investigation."
Local police chief Mohamad Lazim Ismail said, "The case has been classified as a sudden death," according to New York Post.
"The deceased was playing pickleball on the third floor and had climbed over the court’s fence to retrieve a ball and fell to the lower floor," he said in a statement.
