The Eras tour boosted the UK economy by £1 billion thanks to its staggering ticket sales and the associated costs like travel and accommodation, which helped to coin the term “Swiftonomics” to explain the financial impact of Taylor’s shows.

Taylor’s 149-date tour spanned six continents, including 15 dates in the UK, and became the most commercially successful tour of all time.

When tickets went on sale, the star was forced to address the “excruciating” experience after Ticketmaster crashed hoards of fans were left disappointed and without a coveted ticket.

Meanwhile, celebrities flocked to see the singer in London, with everyone from Prince William, who managed to snag a backstage pass, toHugh Grant and Fleabag duo Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Andrew Scott donning their friendship bracelets to be part of the experience.

Taylor’s rigorous prep for the world tour included running on a treadmill while singing her entire setlist, cutting out alcohol, and only interacting with a “bubble” of people to avoid falling sick and having to cancel shows.
