Struggling against the high press
Not sure if it's just me, but we look to really struggle against the high press sometimes. Second half today Charlton pressed really high up the pitch, and had 6 men at times in our final third, and both full backs tight to our wingers. We tried to play through them, and kept losing the ball either with Dimmy/Roberts under pressure from their full backs, or with Paik or Doyle being swarmed in the middle.
The same thing happened second half against QPR midweek, remember it happening against the baggies away too, and probably more.
Obviously it would be better if we were able to play through it, but when we start struggling I wish we played more balls over the top to try and counter the press (or at least make teams think twice). Or even start Dykes over Ducksch to give us an out ball when we get camped in and can't play out.
