White Sox reach 1-year deal with LHP Sean Newcomb

The Chicago White Sox agreed to terms Tuesday with left-hander Sean Newcomb on a one-year, $4.5 million contract.
Newcomb, 32, posted a 2-5 record with two saves and a 2.73 ERA in 48 games (five starts) last season split between the Boston Red Sox and Athletics. The Massachusetts native began his season in Boston before being traded to the A's on May 27 in exchange fo
