Serena Williams Shares Emotional Tribute to Sister Venus After Her Palm Beach Wedding

Serena Williams can’t help gushing over sister Venus Williams and her wedding!

The 44-year-old tennis star shared a touching tribute to Venus in honor of her recent wedding.

Venus, 45, and her husband Andrea Preti, 37, first tied the knot in Italy in September. On December 19, they followed it with a courthouse ceremony and a larger celebration in Palm Beach, Fla., as part of a week of wedding festivities.

“From the backyard courts to the biggest stages in the world, you’ve always led with grace, strength, and a heart bigger than any trophy,” Serena wrote in the caption of her post.

“You’ve been my built-in best friend, my protector, my teacher, and my reminder to always walk in purpose,” she continued. “Seeing you this happy, this loved, this radiant… it means everything to me.”

Serena’s caption went beyond praise. She reflected on their lifelong bond and toasted to her sister’s new chapter with Andrea.
