Pam Bondi: Democrats’ lawfare against Trump ‘a 10-year stain’

It’s a ’10-year stain’ and it’s being investigated as an ongoing election-meddling conspiracy that violated the civil rights of President Donald Trump and other Republicans and protected Democrats from the consequences of their actions.

It’s the massive lawfare campaign assembled by Democrats under the Barack Obama and Joe Biden administrations against Trump, those cases run by the likes of disgraced Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis and special counsel Jack Smith, whose cases included a SWAT raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

The Democrats’ scheme involved multiple civil and criminal allegations against Trump, often based on little to no evidence, as the resulting dismissals suggested. Some of the cases required the law to be manipulated in order for the cases to proceed.

Just the News reported that Attorney General Pam Bondi responded to its questions about the issue.

“Recovering from eye surgery, Bondi made the revelation in written answers Sunday to questions submitted by Just the News, signaling she agrees with FBI Director Kash Patel, who earlier this year penned a memo predicating an investigation looking at the weaponization of intelligence of law-enforcement powers dating to the Russia collusion case as an ongoing conspiracy,” the report said.

“At my direction, our U.S. attorneys and federal agents are actively investigating instances of government weaponization nationwide,” Bondi wrote. “This is a ten-year stain on the country committed by high-ranking officials against the American people.

“Under President Trump, we are fixing the damage and delivering justice.”

She noted her department and the FIB have released “an unprecedented number of documents to Congress about government weaponization, far more than prior administrations,” according to the report.

Just the News explained this approach provides a door for prosecutors to level accusations about alleged crimes “outside the statute of limitations” as they are connected to an “ongoing conspiracy.”

Officials confirmed, in the report, that must of the investigation is being handled in Florida, where that raid on President Trump’s home was conducted in 2022.

Bondi delivered devastating details: “This evidence illustrates that the FBI shielded political figures like Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton while pursuing conservatives for their beliefs, using legal process and operations that were excessive, instead of protecting Americans from public safety threats posed by an open border and violent crime. They went so far as to serve search warrants that their own department and law enforcement officials believed were excessive.”

Evidence now confirms that authorities determined there was no legitimacy to Democrat demands for a raid on Trump’s home, yet they did it anyway.

“This Department of Justice takes government weaponization seriously. That means protecting civil liberties, preventing election interference, and holding bad actors accountable,” she said, in the report. “No one is above the law, even if they think they are.”

She also suggested the maneuvers are continuing, as Obama’s CIA chief, John Brennan, now facing a grand jury subpoena for his testimony, had his lawyer contact the chief judge in the district asking the judge to run interference and protect Brennan, the report said.
