WATCH LIVE: President Trump to give update on the US operation in Venezuela
President Donald Trump is moments away from holding a news conference to address the U.S. military operation that led to the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.
Early Saturday, Trump confirmed in a Truth Social post that the U.S. had “successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela” early Saturday. He detailed at the time that Maduro and his wife were “captured and flown out of the country.”
A livestream from Mar-a-Lago is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
