“Acting President of Venezuela” – Trump Trolls Leftists and Maduro with New Presidential Portrait

President Trump on Sunday trolled ousted Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro and the Democrats by declaring himself the “Acting President of Venezuela,” following the January 3 US military operation to arrest Maduro.

Maduro was captured in the dead of night, with no US forces being killed last Saturday morning.

He was indicted in the Southern District of New York on charges of Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machine Guns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States, the Gateway Pundit reported.

After a week full of outrage from the American left, celebrations by Venezuelans in America and across the world, and threats to other drug lords in South America, Trump took another victory lap by sharing a mock Wikipedia page with his Presidential portrait listed as Venezuela’s acting president.

Trump posted the image on Truth Social earlier:

Trump has not been shy about his seizure of an entire country, despite claims of colonialism and abuse of power.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump told reporters last Sunday that his administration will be in control of Venezuela when a reporter asked to clarify how the United States would run Venezuela until an election is held.

Trump told the reporter, “Don’t ask me who’s in charge, because I’ll give you an answer, and it’ll be very controversial.” He then declared, “We’re in charge,” later adding that oil companies are going to invest “a lot” of money and fix Venezuela’s infrastructure.
