Commissioner wants to do away with jail trust; add sales tax for jail
There have been growing talks about what to do with the Oklahoma County jail and the jail trust that oversees it. District 1 County Commissioner Jason Lowe, said he wants to see the facility handed over to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office and have the jail trust dissolved.
