BMC targets anti-rabies vaccine drive for 43k strays

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has partnered with veterinary institutions and Mission Rabies India to vaccinate 43,000 stray dogs within two months. This initiative, prompted by a Supreme Court warning, aims to achieve a rabies-free city by administering vaccines on-site. The mass vaccination drive is set to commence in early March.
