DGCA slaps Rs 22.2 crore fine on IndiGo over December flight disruptions, orders Rs 50 crore bank guarantee
The country’s largest airline has also been ordered to furnish a Rs 50 crore bank guarantee to ensure implementation of reforms in four areas: leadership and governance, manpower planning, digital systems and board oversight. The guarantee will be released in phases, only after the civil aviation regulator verified compliance at each stage.
