Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed on Sunday that the ICE agent who justly shot and killed radical left protester Renee Good, who attempted to run the agent over with her car, will not be mistreated with unnecessary additional investigations into his conduct.
ICE agent Jonathan Ross fatally shot Good last week in self-defense after she tried to run him down with her vehicle in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He and his family have already come under fire and been doxxed by leftists, and now, leftwing media pundits and politicians like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz want him punished legally.
“The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her,” Walz said in a Friday X post.
This narrative was pushed by Trump-hating lunatic Margaret Brennan on CBS’s Face the Nation on Sunday. Kristi Noem clarified, “We are following the exact same investigative and review process that we always have under ICE, and under the Department of Homeland Security, and within the administration, the exact same policy that the Biden administration used. So, we haven’t changed any of that.”
She further slammed Tim Walz, saying she “would not listen to Governor Walz,” and highlighting the billions of dollars in welfare fraud by Somali aliens in the state of Minnesota, as well as his failure during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots. “He has a very bad track record. All this billions of dollars of fraud was stolen from people under his watch. He allowed it to happen, and he also ignored the law and allowed the City of Minneapolis to burn down in 2020,” Noem said.
“I’m not going to be taking any advice from him on how we implement the law and protect people.”

He certainly isn’t— have good judgment in these types of situations, and I’m not going to be taking any advice from him on how we implement the law and protect people.
On Fox News Sunday, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche also chimed in, noting that the incident has already been “reviewed by millions and millions of Americans because it was recorded on phones when it happened.”

The Civil Rights, the Department of Justice, our Civil Rights unit, we don’t just go out and investigate every time an officer is forced to defend himself against somebody for putting his life in danger. We never do. That has nothing to do with what happened in Minneapolis. There are over 1000 shootings every year, where law enforcement are put in danger by individuals, and they have to protect themselves, and they have a lawful right to do so.
The Department of Justice doesn’t just stand up and investigate because some Congressman thinks we should, because some Governor thinks that we should. We investigate when it’s appropriate to investigate, and that is not the case here. It wasn’t the case when it happened, and it’s not the case today. If circumstances change and there’s something that we do need to investigate around that shooting or any other shooting, we will, but we are not going to bow to pressure from the media, bow to pressure from politicians, and do something that we never do— not under this administration, not under the last administration. And so no, we are not investigating. And if there comes a time when we need to, we will, but it’s not now.
