'Where's My Phone?' Lyrics: Mitski Announces New Album 'Nothing’s About to Happen to Me'
Mitski is back!
The 35-year-old “My Love Mine All Mine” singer-songwriter announced her new studio album, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, along with dropping lead single “Where’s My Phone?” over the weekend.
The album, out on February 27, marks her eighth overall, and her first since 2023′s The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We.

“Where did it go? Where’s my phone? Where’s my phone? Where did I leave? Where’d I go? Where’d I go?” she questions on the anxious song, produced by longtime collaborator Patrick Hyland.
Per the official press release, the album “finds Mitski immersing herself in a rich narrative whose main character is a reclusive woman in an unkempt house. Outside of her home, she is a deviant; inside of her home, she is free.”
