Centre agreed to procure 8 lakh tonnes of rice from Odisha: CM Mohan Charan Majhi

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi assured farmers of paddy procurement. The Centre will lift 8 lakh tonnes of rice. Development projects worth over Rs 891 crore were launched in Kalahandi. These projects aim to boost irrigation and farmer income. New irrigation projects are planned. A cotton production cluster will be established.
