Stubb and Putin invited to Trump’s Gaza peace council

Finnish President Alexander Stubb has received an invitation to join a new Gaza peace council announced by US President Donald Trump, according to information confirmed by the Office of the President of the Republic of Finland.

The invitation was delivered overnight between Friday and Saturday through diplomatic channels. The presidential office said it is reviewing the proposal. The White House has not commented on whether invitees are expected to formally accept before the council begins work.
