The video posted to his YouTube and Instagram on January 19th definitely pulls at the heartstrings a bit and gives off high school graduation vibes as it recounts his years racing and riding with Pivot Factory Racing. There has been an outpour of well-wishes and support from fans and other racers, with Bernard Kerr commenting, “Best years of our lives so far mate.”

“Its time. After 8 years riding for Pivot Factory Racing the time has come for me to move on. What a ride it’s been! Holy shit, I’ll never be able to put it into words how grateful I am for the opportunities that Pivot and BK have given me. But, It’s time for me to hang up the boots after chasing World Cup racing full-time for the last 13 years . My heroes became friends and my friends became heroes. I’m proud of what we achieved, and to everyone who has been a part of the journey, thank you so much. Love you all and see you on the trails.”
