New twist emerges in LIC office fire case; police say injured officer killed manager

A senior manager at an LIC office in Madurai died in what was initially thought to be an accidental fire. Police now say an assistant officer murdered her. The manager was investigating document irregularities linked to the assistant officer. He allegedly set her on fire and locked her in a room.
