On Thursday afternoon, the contenders for this year’s Academy Awards slowly began being unveiled, with Ryan Coogler’s Sinners making history as the most-nominated film in history with a whopping 16 nominations.
This included acting nods for cast members Michael B Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku and Delroy Lindo, as well as recognition in the Best Picture, Best Director and newly-added for 2026 Best Casting categories.
