Nancy Lee Grahn 'Refuses' to Watch 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Episode Featuring Carrie Underwood

General Hospital‘s Nancy Lee Grahn is not watching the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

On Friday night (January 23), Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan appeared on the ABC late-night show to chat about season 24 of American Idol.

Ahead of the episode, the 69-year-old Daytime Emmy-winning actress announced that she would not be watching because of Carrie, 42.

After Nancy shared the post, many others, including Kathy Griffin, agreed that they would not be watching the Kimmel episode because of Carrie.

“Yeah, no love for maga Carrie. It’s not just about political disagreements,” Kathy, 65, wrote.

While Carrie has refrained from sharing her political views in the past, she performed “America the Beautiful” at Donald Trump‘s second inauguration in January 2025.

After her comments started making headlines, Nancy made it clear that her intention was not to “slam” Jimmy.

“Truth matters. I LOVE Jimmy Kimmel & watch him every night. I would never ‘slam’ him,” Nancy wrote along with article about her “slamming” the late-night host.

“I simply said I would watch him next week because I didn’t want to look at Carrie Underwood (for obvious reasons) who was his guest that night,” she continued. “Come on, guys, I’m not worth the clickbait.”
