Quarterback Jarrett Stidham is making his first NFL start in over 2 years today – and it’s an important game for the Denver Broncos.

The 29-year-old backup QB was thrust into the starter spotlight after Bo Nix went down with a season-ending ankle injury. Jarrett will now start the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots today (January 25), and if they win, he will start in the 2026 Super Bowl, too.

You may not know that Kennedy is actually the daughter of a man named Tad Brown, who is the former CEO of the Houston Rockets! He’s now the CEO of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE).

Jarrett and Kennedy seemingly met while at Baylor, where they were both athletes. Kennedy played soccer, while Jarrett was on the football team. Jarrett eventually transferred to Auburn.

In late June of 2019, Kennedy and Jarrett said “I do.” They now have three kids: Lennon, born in April 2022, son Madden, born in March 2024, and a newborn daughter named Nella, born in October 2025.
