Hull City are leading the race for his signature. Hull have been working under transfer constraints since the summer but they have overperformed under Sergej Jakirovic and are very much in contention for promotion.

Talks between Hull and Liverpool are said to be advanced but a departure could well be needed before the Tigers can register Koumas for the second half of the season.

Hull targeted Koumas in the summer before the Wales international joined Blues.
