THE LOWDOWN
This CAS Elite U19 League fixture will be the youngsters’ first game at HTC in over three months following an extended break from league action in the latter months of 2025 – with our Under-19s squad’s last match at HTC a 3-2 victory over Dundee United on 14 October 2025.
Darren McGregor’s side secured all three points on the road last week, with Jay Gallacher’s 88th-minute diving header keeping up Hibs’ excellent league form while Ryan Mallon pulled off a number of great stops to seal his fourth clean sheet of the campaign.
The lads sit joint-first in the league table after taking 16 points from a possible 18 so far. St Mirren lead the standings on goal difference over Hibs, but have played one match more.
THE VISITORS
Motherwell are currently bottom of the eight-team CAS Elite U19 League.
The ‘Well lost their first seven matches in the league, but picked up three points for the first time this season with a 2-1 win over Hearts last week at K-Park.
Our last clash against the North Lanarkshire club was on matchday two, all the way back in August, at Dalziel Park.
Jamie McMurdo opened the scoring inside five minutes after finishing from a low Logan Jimenez cutback, before firing in his second from outside the box in the second half. A late ‘Well penalty proved to be just a consolation as the wee Hibees walked away with a 2-1 win.
