Ariana Grande Reacts to Vogue Japan Cover Giving Her Six Fingers

Ariana Grande is reacting to an editing mishap on her new cover of Vogue Japan.

The Wicked star has a phantom sixth finger on her left hand in the cover photo that has been spotted and widely circulated online.

A fan posted the image on Instagram and Ariana herself commented, “oh sh-t,” and then “oh my goodness how exciting ! i’ve been saying i need some extra appendages so that i can start an album ! thankful for this.”

On the official Vogue Japan story online, the photo has since been corrected.

While Ariana and her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo were snubbed by this year’s Oscars, they were both nominated for Grammy Awards. The 2026 Grammys will be held this Sunday, February 1 and air on CBS.

It has also been announced that she will re-team with Wicked star Jonathan Bennett for an upcoming production of Sunday in the Park with George.
