Fly kicks probably aren't what you think of when you hear about Costco, but Nike is trying to change that.
The two companies — both giants in their own rights — teamed up to drop a pair of Kirkland Signature Nike SB Dunk Lows on Friday. The shoes launched at select Costco locations across the US at $135, WWD reported.
The gray material is similar to that of the popular Kirkland Signature hoodie from Costco.

Videos from Costco locations documented the hype around the shoe, which dropped without either company issuing an announcement. People can be seen lining up around pallets of shoes for a chance to snag their size.
They're going for around $350 on the resale marketplace StockX, depending on size.

As of Friday, the Costco website didn't appear to offer the sneakers. It's unclear how many pairs came in the drop, and if there will be more to come once they're sold out.
Under previous CEO John Donahoe, Nike relied on retro styles like Dunks, Air Force Ones, and Air Jordan 1s. With Elliott Hill now at the helm, the sports giant is leaning into a more sports-focused approach, focusing on performance wear rather than lifestyle shoes.
The company is also diversifying its profile through collaborations like NikeSkims — a new brand launched with Kim Kardashian.
If the Costco line is any indicator, Nike's retro styles still seem to attract a crowd.
