Over the last few months, multiple sources have suggested that Tottenham are fans of AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit, who has emerged as one of the best young talents in the Eredivisie over the last 18 months.

TEAMtalk have now confirmed that Tottenham are eyeing a move for the 20-year-old, along with several other Premier League giants.
The report reveals that, alongside the Lilywhites, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea have all expressed an interest in Smit in light of his impressive growth at AZ.
The report claims that the Dutch club will demand more than €60m (£52.2m) for Smit, while it is revealed that some in the Netherlands are saying the midfielder could cost as much as €75m (£65.3m).
However, Tottenham Hotspur may not even get a chance to vie for the youngster in the summer if Liverpool get their way over the coming hours.
Liverpool looking to secure Spurs target Smit before transfer deadline
A report in DAVEOCKOP has now claimed that Liverpool are now attempting to complete a deal for the Netherlands Under-21 international before the window slams shut this evening.
The Reds are currently said to be locked in talks with Smit’s representatives regarding a late move to Anfield.
The report adds that while AZ see the midfielder as a big talent for the future, they are open to selling him for a sizable transfer fee.
