EAM Jaishankar meets US Treasury Secretary Bessent; discusses economic partnership, strategic cooperation

India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in Washington. They discussed strengthening the India-US economic partnership and strategic cooperation. Discussions also covered securing supply chains and national security. Jaishankar also met with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. They welcomed a trade deal and discussed formalizing cooperation on critical minerals exploration and mining.
