India-US trade pact to expand market access for American farmers, producers: USTR

The United States Trade Representative (USTR) said the India-US interim trade agreement will expand access for American farmers and producers to one of the world’s largest markets. It said India has committed to eliminating or lowering tariffs on all US industrial goods and a wide range of agricultural products, while also addressing long-standing non-tariff barriers.
