3 Fun Novelty Bets For Super Bowl LX

Even if you don't really care about the game's outcome, Super Bowl LX novelty bets are a silly but totally enjoyable way to get in on the betting action. My favorite novelty wagers for the New England Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks aren't necessarily based on wise decisions as much as rolling the dice on big payouts with nothing more than chance and vibes in play.

All odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook and are subject to change. DraftKings does not sponsor this content.

Opening Coin Toss Outcome: Tails (−103)

I will pick tails any opportunity I get to settle a decision with a coin flip. For the record, tails was the flip in eight of the last 12 Super Bowl coin tosses. Make of that what you will, but it gives me an excuse to keep rolling with the backside of the coin.

Jersey Number of 1st TD Scorer: Under 10.5 (+120)

Players who qualify for the Patriots: Drake Maye, Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, Demario Douglas, Carlton Davis, Harold Landry, and Christian Gonzalez. The Seahawks' roster is not nearly as appealing, with DeMarcus Lawrence, Nick Emmanwori, Uchenna Nwosu, Coby Bryant, Kenneth Walker III, and Cooper Kupp as the only viable options, short of two backup QBs, kicker Jason Myers, or a punter hilariously getting into the end zone. We have enough capable fliers here to take a shot at it hitting. Or, you can bet solely on your favorite number, should it fall within this range.

Super Bowl LX Scorigami: Yes (+2200)

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term "scorigami," it simply means the total combined score between both teams at the end of the game will be the first time that number has occurred in NFL history. In the Super Bowl, this has happened only three times in 59 prior games. Expect to lose, but tossing a couple of clams at this one pays handsomely enough to warrant the risk.
