Coinbase is causing a national singalong with a familiar song!

The crypto company decided to go the simple route with their 2026 Super Bowl commercial, presenting a simple lyric singalong screen with basic computer animation that you’d see at your local karaoke bar.

The song featured is the 1997 Backstreet Boys hit “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” starting with the lyrics: “Oh my god, we’re back again.”

“We’re still competing with people’s cell phones, and this ad will undoubtedly get them and anyone to look up. We’re really trying to effectively use this as the world’s biggest singalong, to show that crypto isn’t just for techies, but really for anyone who knows the lyrics,” a Coinbase exec explained, per Variety.
