Looking ahead: What to expect at the HKTDC twin Jewellery Shows in March 2026

The twin jewellery shows will take place in Hong Kong next month, bringing international exhibitors and buyers together across finished jewellery and raw materials for jewellery production.

The 42nd HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will be held March 4 – 8, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. At the same time, the 12th HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show runs March 2 – 6, at AsiaWorld-Expo. Both events are organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

The two events are designed to operate in parallel, offering a structured sourcing and networking environment for participants across the jewellery value chain.

HKTDC dubs the combined events as the ‘world’s largest one-stop jewellery marketplace’. Some 4000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions will participate in the events, while more than 40 themed pavilions will showcase jewellery products across the two events, including a new Hard Pure Gold Pavilion.

Alongside the exhibition, more than 20 seminars and networking sessions will be held, covering industry trends, digital marketing and jewellery technologies.

Both shows will operate under the HKTDC’s Exhibition+ hybrid model. Supporting the physical events, Click2Match, an AI-enabled business-matching platform, will be available from February 23 to March 13, allowing buyers and exhibitors to connect before, during and after the exhibitions.

Under the theme ‘Fusion of Dazzling Beauty’, organisers expect participants from a broad range of markets to present finished jewellery alongside diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls and other materials used in jewellery fabrication. The Jewellery Show will feature multiple themed zones, including the Hall of Extraordinary, the Hall of Fame and the Designer Jewellery Galleria, each structured to help buyers navigate product categories efficiently.

Gold jewellery will continue to be featured in a dedicated zone. Following its introduction last year, the Gold Jewellery Zone returns this year in response to growing demand for innovative gold designs in the Wider China region, Asean markets and India.

To highlight design innovation, the Jewellery Show will also host the Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition, inviting participants to interpret the theme ‘Pure Elegance – Natural Beauty’. Winning pieces will be announced and displayed during the event.

At AsiaWorld-Expo, the Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will showcase a range of diamonds, pearls and coloured gemstones sourced from around the world. Highlighted areas will include the Hall of Fine Diamonds, Treasures of Nature and Treasures of Ocean, aimed at supporting materials sourcing and production planning.

Complementing the exhibitions, both fairs will run seminars and networking sessions that address industry developments, including technology adoption, design trends, and authentication practices.
