India-EU FTA will have no bearing on domestic SUV volume: M&M Group CEO & MD Anish Shah

M&M Group CEO Anish Shah believes the India-EU Free Trade Agreement will not affect local SUV sales. He explained that European carmakers cannot currently import vehicles cheaper than domestic options. The agreement, set to be signed soon and implemented by 2026, will allow duty-free access for most EU shipments to India.
