AC Milan have been in contact with Tottenham for years to get some key advice

AC Milan are looking to Tottenham Hotspur for some advice that could influence the long-term future of the Serie A giants.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium remains one of football’s modern masterpieces and is the home to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

The revenue generated from the club is immense, as it not only hosts football matches but is a multi-purpose stadium capable of staging NFL games, boxing matches, and concerts.

The Spurs home stadium generates millions of pounds in revenue, which is fantastic for the club in both a footballing and business perspective – if Tottenham start investing more into the team, of course.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium inspiring AC Milan plans

Calciomercato are now reporting that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is catching the interest of AC Milan in Italy.

It is understood that AC Milan has been in contact with Spurs for years, with the Italian side looking to replicate the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Milan.

Milan is currently working on building the new San Siro, and it is believed that Spurs’ stadium is very much the reference point for what will be the new ground.

Key features AC Milan want to replicate from Spurs

The report also reveals what Milan is looking to copy from Tottenham’s home ground.

The transparent tunnel that Spurs, Manchester City and others have pushed forward appeals immensely to the Italian side, alongside selling hospitality packages and the ‘Tunnel Club’ schemes.

Milan believes that including these things is a step towards “making football ever closer to the fans”.

There are other elements too. The Italian side wants 71,500 seats and will adopt a more oval shape – again, another hint towards Tottenham. There will also be further features, such as a roof and internal shopping options.
