Imam Khamenei: Eight-year Sacred Defense was proud test for Iranian nation

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said that “the eight-year Sacred Defense in the 1980s was, on one hand, a proud test of the Iranian nation’s bravery, faith, resilience, and military innovations; and on the other, a scene of oppression, isolation, and the endurance of mental and physical pain”.
