At least 6,000 killed over 3 days during RSF attack on Sudan’s el-Fasher, UN says

Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces killed more than 6,000 people in three days during an assault on el-Fasher, the U.N. Human Rights Office has said. The attack in late October included war crimes and possible crimes against humanity, the U.N. report published Friday found. It said RSF fighters and allied Arab militias carry out mass killings, executions, rape, abductions, torture, and disappearances. The U.N. says many people were targeted for their ethnicity. The RSF did not respond to the report. Its leader has acknowledged abuses but disputes the scale.
