The Godfather's Al Pacino & Robert De Niro Pay Tribute to Co-Star Robert Duvall

Robert Duvall‘s The Godfather co-stars Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are reacting to his death.

If you aren’t aware, Al starred as Michael Corleone in The Godfather and the second film, The Godfather Part II, with Robert portraying his lawyer Tom Hagen. Robert starred as a young Vito Corleone in Part II, but they did not act alongside one another.

Al Pacino said in a statement, via Variety, “It was an honor to have worked with Robert Duvall. He was a born actor as they say, his connection with it, his understanding and his phenomenal gift will always be remembered. I will miss him.”

Robert added, “God bless Bobby. I hope I can live till I’m 95. May he rest in peace.”

Robert passed away over the weekend at the age of 95. RIP.
